hello all new to group and to cars too 

picked up a focus 2005 nice little 1.6 for first car 

have a problem after 2 moths eml came on and is still on due to a egr valve i know i can block it off with a plate i been told but was also told not to do this as the dpf will go nxt

i am not to sure so a post on er was best i think
