hey guys  as you can tell im brand new at this so hopefully doing it right. My name is keith I live in the tyne and wear area, I have an orion ghia 1.6 carb 1984 model in gold its a great car totally standard even has the original radio in it . as the rear seatbelts were an option in those days she only has one in the rear which makes the car a little quirky anyway here is  a pic hope you like it cheers

Hey Emma no it was not  a project for me ,any way the guy I got  it off did a few little bits to it  like waxoiled the underside replaced the rocker cover gasket changed the oil give it a good service and had it detailed I think that's all he did, I was only allowed to buy it from him because he needed the space in his garage to buy another oldie hahaha shes not a bad car considering shes 32 years old ... think I might put some pics of the interior on too.. do you think I should ???

 

Just found out that there's only 45 mk 1  orions in my spec around in the whole country on the road. That's canny cool and sad in the same breath,  knowing that my cars a little bit special by being quite rare ... By the way guys my brother in law also has an oldie  its an H plate  mk 4  escort 4 door 1.6 ghia  but it has an rs turbo engine fitted with a few improvements like a hybrid turbo, big intercooler, dump valve and competition clutch. plus loads more than I can remember, hes also thinking about joining the club any way here's a pic of it ...were always around whitley bay together when there is  a cruise on.,On a Sunday afternoon
