35 years old and learning to drive haha.

Still.

I will be on here a fair bit as I'm sure I can get a nice wee deal for this or that but anyway, I've got a 2003 Focus 1.6 5dr hatch.

It cost me 200 with 10 months on the MOT so its a bargain...so far lol.  Really wasn't interested in driving at all until I got this so it's nice to have a wee Ford again.  Only thing I'm really bothered about changing on it is perhaps some clear side indicators but for sure I'm wanting to get it lowered (30-40mm), even though I refuse to change the wheels or add a zorst or any other bit like that.  Maybe an induction kit but these seem to be more than half what I paid for the car so I doubt it haha.  I'm aiming for some used springs for around 40 bucks...bit of a stretch maybe but....

The Focus, 200 quid makes you think its a banger and sure it has a ding or two on the rear door, and some rust in the usual spots but mechanically it seems to be sound and the plugs didn't show any nasty signs when I changed them...so fingers crossed it holds together relatively well for 2 or maybe 3 years.  Not really sure what else to check but it will do for a driver who has passed the theory (RIP OFF) and aim to do practical v soon...
