Yes mine is exactly the same as that.

So I just unsolder the led and resolder a new blue one in using the one you linked from eBay on your build thread?

I might try that although soldering isn't my strong point

    Yep that's exactly what I did for my gear knob.  The only thing I can think of is that with it being only one LED, if the voltage of the board is regulated down for the red, a blue LED might be a bit dimmer.  The 1500mcd LEDS I bought were plenty bright enough though.

    Tweezers are almost essential if you don't have solder wick to get the old ones off. When I tinned the contacts on the new LEDs I drew the iron away to leave a 'spike' of solder sideways out from the LED. Makes it a lot easier to flow solder back on when fitting.

    Obviously be aware of the orientation of the LED. There's a cutaway on one corner for this. 

    Let me know how you get on!  If you prefer I don't mind if you send them to me with the LEDs to solder.

    Hey Phil, how did you get on with your seat and changing your footwells?

    I converted mine to white, using some trafficator fuse style bulbs and making new connectors so if you knacker yours accidentally, I've got a spare set of stock red ones!

    Nope

    Did mountune on the ST don't really want to start the whole carbon thing it's a slippery slope and wrap isn't for me
