Anybody with the STLines got a picture of the car at night? Really curious to see what the lights look like in the dark

Just got home with this! Due to collect this morning but delayed due to blizzard! Only managed the few miles from the dealers but will post some comments when I get chance for a proper drive. Must say

  • Ok, finally a picture, 8 months in the waiting.

Apparently waiting until June for my Fiesta Titanium X to be built (haven't ordered it yet). Doesn't sound too bad.

Honestly have never seen the point in a panoramic roof. How often do you look out the top of the car? If I need a breeze, I'll open the windows.

The blue though, God I wish they hadn't discontinued it :(

Kind of agree with the panoramic roof, as a 600 quid option, not sure if it's any real good value. I have sat in ST Lines with both no pan roof and the pan roof fitted, there is more light in the interior with the pan roof but i wasn't really fussed about it

Anyone with a car, what real-world MPG are you getting?

Can somebody do me a favour as well, I've been watching a video review.

Can somebody confirm if this is present in their car (this is a Polish Fiesta)? I'm wondering if this is a wireless charging pad or a signal booster?

I complained to my dealer about the same thing but got no meaningful response. My St Line X 140 was ordered on the 15th August, built on the 15th February and been waiting for shipping to the UK in Flushing since 21st February. Very frustrated with the lack of updates. The dealer has done their best with what little information Ford have provided but Ford has absolutely no customer service or customer focus.

UPDATE: At last, car delivered to dealer today! I needed a first-aider when he told me as its been over 7 months! Yesterday they could not find where it was either in Flushing or Dagenham and today at 11am status changed to 'out to dealer' and 12noon it arrived! Ford really are customer focused aren't they! Pick it up Wednesday but its been painful.

Yes the little mat is there, don't know what it is really. Don't think it is a charger, not sure what it is for. Just put the fob there myself.

Don't like the look of the gear knob, seats or the roof lining the guy is pulling at around the sunroof (Is it?) In that model.

Anyone know where I can get a PDF user manual?

Just given my 140ps ST-Line it's first fill up after 300 miles. Brim to brim average 44.77, that was mixed driving (but no motorways or traffic jams) in the abysmal weather we've had since I got it on 1 March.

DriveTheDeal have taken my £500 deposit and will be introducing me to a dealer shortly.

Final spec:

  • 125PS 1.0T
  • 5 Door
  • Magnetic
  • Door Edge Protectors
  • Advanced Auto Assistance Pack
  • Adjustable Boot Floor
  • BLIS
  • Driver Assistance Pack
  • Full LED Headlamps

26 week apparent lead time but hoping it's faster than that! :)

Did you decide not to bother with Broker4Cars in the end? 26 weeks is a long time but I bet it’ll be here sooner

They were more with the APR!

Oh yes of course they would be, forgot that they do their own finance rather than Ford’s one! By the looks of things they seem good if you’re buying with cash but PCP or even HP works out a bit more in the end.

What is it with lead times at the moment? Whenever I've bought new (and last time before the Fiesta was 2014), delivery on a factory order was generally around 6-8 weeks. I lurk on quite a few other motoring forums and our recent experience does not look out of line with what's happening with other makes - VW have I understand even stopped taking orders on certain models (eg Golf GTE, Up! GTi) as lead times had gone out to 12 months.

At this rate we'll have to start ordering our next car as soon as we get one delivered!

I always quote up to 3 months when I am taking orders from my customers. Generally we should be able to get something in 2-3 months if it's a custom build.

One dealer said 3 months for this spec, another said 12 months, this one said 26 weeks. Who knows.

excited to be taking delivery of my titanium on the 28th :)

Last Thursday I took delivery of my white Titanium X automatic ordered last June

One feature I was not expecting was the automatic door mirrors have a night light to highlight the door handles - similar to what I have on my BMW

The other strange thing is the front fog lights include "cornering lights" - can someone explain what this does - the near side one came on for a short while was I was going around a bend but soon went out?

I have only done 60 miles but mpg not very high 34 semi built up area.

The car itself it very good and fast - compared to my former Fiesta 1.4 automatic which was slow.

Nice and easy to drive

Very nice! Hope you're liking the car so far.

As far as I'm aware the cornering lights are "static" meaning that as you are turning, the fog light on the side you are turning into will come on to offer extra light but the lens itself does not perform any movement as it may do in other cars. After you have turned, the fog light will go off a second or two after. Nice feature to have anyway but I'm not sure if it truly makes a massive difference - although correct me if my gut feeling is mistaken!

You need to wait until you have few thousand miles on the clock before you will get accurate figures.

And then you need to do the brim it - run a while - brim it and work out miles to MPG from that

what is brim it mean?

what is brim it mean?
He means fill the fuel tank up to the top.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kajda.fuelio this Android app is great for tracking MPG using this method (as well as your costs etc). There's probably an equivalent for iPhone too.

I'm still waiting for my Titanium. It's now been a month since it was built, and nearly as long since it entered flushing, where it still is - the snow seemed to cause a delay and I have no ETA now :(

My method for calculating mpg is:

As Tiexen says, brim the tank ie fill it fully until the pump clicks off and zero your trip or take note of your mileage.

When you next need fuel, do the same again.

Divide the miles you have done by the quantity of fuel you have just put in, which gives you miles per litre.

Multiply this figure by 4.54609 to give mpg.
