Itd be interesting to know about how big or small the dealer is. unfortunatley due to mine being a lease, the leasing company arnt allowed to give me the dealers details so I wont know. its a micky take how some cars get prioritised, particuarly when theres people like me who have been waiting half a year...

Enjoying it very much, one or two annoying rattles but letting my dealer sort it. It’s a 140 ST Line X 3dr in Deep Imp. blue. Quite a few options on it like the B&O sound, blis, adaptive cruise, heated seats and wheel and I think a couple more things on it too. Good all-rounder. Good for city, good for motorway, overall not too bad of a choice. Taking it on a drive through Europe in August so looking forward to that!

ah that'll be good fun, glad youre enjoying it. Looking forward to doing some nice long roadtrips once I get mine also. gonna be so nice going from a bottom spec 2012 citreon c1, to a

idk, its due to them on the 9th as of yesterday, but they said theres a strong possibiltiy it could arrive sooner, i suppose it depends on how buried it is in the uk compound, idk.

mine is still due to the dealership on saturday, although supposedly the dealer still can not garuntee that it will arrive this week 🙄 head is starting to fry a little bit with frustration now from the constant uncertainty and delays..

Dealers have never been able to guarantee when the cars turn up as it's reliant on transporters.

Ford won't send a transporter out till it's full and then sometimes they can get held up on route.

So sometimes it just turns up.

I'm all pencilled in for Thursday. Cannot wait!

Not sure what is happening here with the delivery delays. We were told that ours would be at the dealer week ending March 10th and sure enough it arrived on the Thursday and we collected on the Saturday.

i don’t get it at all. my car has been in the uk at least 2 weeks but still hasn’t got to the dealership. if it doesn’t arrive this week i’m going to get so irritated. my current car has been sold and i have to keep delaying the buyers and my tyres etc are declining in condition. first expected day was 11th may, then 27th april, then 19th may, then 31st may, now 9th june and potentially even later as they can’t garuntee it’ll arrive. it’s just frying my brain now

Does seem like someone somewhere has been fobbing you off for some reason.

Have you actually been given a VIN number for the car and selected a registration?

I haven’t been given a VIN number as im leasing it. but I have my registration yes 

Ok, it can't be that they have given your ordered car to someone else then I wouldnt have thought.

yeah i highly doubt they would've cocked it up that bad. the leasing company are updating me again tomorrow, so hopefully its still due to arrive at the dealer on saturday, if not sooner...if it slips back again, I may have to stop biting my tounge so much and express my frustration a little

Yeah mine was bang on when my dealer said it would arrive.

Just had my update. My car is now at a “vehicle holding compound in liverpool”. Still expected to arrive at the dealer this week. fingers crossed

Isn't it a week from when it arrives at the dealer for an inspection?
