On my current here maps on sync 3 I think they shouldve made an on screen shortcut to the traffic option as currently you have to show controls then the 3 lines to get into it. I know not everything can be on the screen but feel it quite important to check in on that option.

Not sure if this is the same as you mean but using the voice command "show traffic" provides an on screen list of traffic incidents, either on route (if using nav) or all.  Using the voice command "show map" returns to the main nav map.

Upgraded from F5 to F6 today, £41 works fine.

I upgraded mine from F5 to F6 but a main road that was being built from January 2014 and open since December 2015 is still not on it! How out of date are these maps when they are brought out? I can't believe they want you to pay for them.

make sure you do a master reset after installing the maps.

Make sure you do a master reset after install. This allows voice commands to work correctly.

So just to be sure this is for sync 3 and is not usable on sync 2 systems?

Correct, only works for sync 3 systems 

Awesome! Thank you. Come to think of it, The second hand car I’m getting tomorrow ( a 2015 focus) I think is sync 2 thinking how the system looked. If it is sync 2 it will be an eBay card I think. 

Yer if it’s sync 2 I think you have to purchase card map updates. 

Hopefully it will come with an f6 card with it being an ex fleet car, but I not pinning my hopes on it lol

Not sure about traffic on Sync 2, but on Sync 3 traffic info shown on the map  via the Live Traffic option set in the Ford Pass app which requires a connected phone with mobile data.
