Have only ever used the Tunnel rat option and no others, saying that the latest V-linker should do what your after. UNO should pop up in a bit to assist.

I thought Forscan (as late as qrt 2 2024) stated a lot of fun with the Mk2 focus / this era cars, they now realise was coz it does use 18v feps for various elements on these early cars - and to this day I thought they said its still flaky and not to be risked flashing modules on these old ones

 

that said the manual switched cables for cruise and EMLconfig seems Ok

and in the last 3 weeks one bod says he can't get vlinker to work with EMLconfig

we had another 5 weeks back was going to give it a go for BT module chassis number updating - but he never said how he got on

loads of cables work - but loads claiming to be real are fakes - you need genuine chips inside not pretend ones for $10

I'm still surprised the vlinker one doesn't behave - is it new users playing for the first time and not setting up the machine or the cable correctly before diving in

if vlinker auto switching doesn't work - why should the ODB linkEX  auto switching behave
