  1. Wow, that's a very vivid prediction lol I agree though that she may chase you a short while after it's ended, that's when you have to stand strong and stick by your convictions. I'm fortunate enough that once I split with a girl there was no chase, they never wanted me back [emoji22] if she does this then it's more than likely to be an ego thing on her part. Make sure you take time to process what has happened and clear your head, stick with your mates and do what makes you happy for a while. Beware of your own rebound actions, they rarely make you feel better and it wouldn't be fair to the rebound chick, it would be fun though [emoji87] My marriage ended almost a year to the day of anniversary. I was devastated and thought I would never find anyone else, I thought my heart was just in bits. I spent time with my friends and did things I wanted to do. I did end up having a 'friend with benefits' for a few months and that suited us both lol. Then I met my now wife and now I have a wife, baby, dog, new build house, a promotion at work and 2 new(ish) fords. Life couldn't be sweeter! The girl for you is out there, you may already know her or you may not but you will find each other. In the meantime have fun looking!! Plow your time into your car, get it looking good and show it. You may find a petrol head girlfriend! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  2. Drop it like it's hot, The individual perhaps didn't get enough love from a parent as a child and now having found yourself offering affection they are finding many ways to abuse it and make the most for there financial gain, comfort and pleasure this can also happen if your are from a wealthy family. Be prepared for the possible suicidal threats towards you when you terminate the relationship, Also be prepared for the booty call text within a few months after the break up this will be a honey trap. and if you do follow through with that booty call request; be sure to wear two condoms because a few days after that text she will be telling you that she thinks she has gotten pregnant "from that one time when we weren't In a relationship" which will be a plan that see's you chasing her again as this would be the plan to get more out of you with no truth in the story atall. Then creating the love triangle when she finds another Gom to polish her shoes at which point she may phone you to say how fantastic they are in comparison to yourself. Life is too short mate 👍

  3. I never said I didn't like it. Any way never mind. All I can advise you and I've bin around a bit is that no matter how old you are or even if you have been married or bin with your partner a long long time or just starting out you cannot fathom out the workings of a female mind .

  4. I do like finding the bogof on chicken necks and the offer of 4 for £10 on stinky sticks is still being run, at Pipper's food supplier. That's very cheap compared to down here!

  5. Her attitude shows a very poor level of respect for you or herself. Some people can't exist without causing drama in everything they do, it gives them a false sense of being in full control of someone elses life and this gives her a buzz knowing that she's making you dance like her puppet. Cut her loose, move on and find someone who offers mutual respect. Apt is the phrase- 'plenty more fish in the sea'. I spend about 70% of my working time dealing with domestic problems, trust me when I say she's damaged goods and you deserve far better. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

  8. 6-7 year old 1.6 diesel Focus with 60000 miles. Roughly 10,000 miles a year. Probably around town. DPF. 3 letters that personally (just my personal opinion) which would make me look elsewhere.

  9. I took my eye of the ball and hit a wall! Wrote it off...the chassis was twisted beyond repair. I bought it off a mechanic who had made some *cough* 'minor adjustments' *cough* After I got the insurance payout, I bought a 2 litre Cortina Ghia in red, with a Weber carburetor and the plushest interior I have ever seen. .

  10. Can't say I'm speaking from experience, but my advice would be to walk on! If she's like that now, can you imagine what she'd be like if you married her?

  11. Sounds like someone who thrives on drama and has to be the centre of attention. She's selfish, walk away and find someone who is less hard work. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

  12. Going from what owners of the 1.6 in the MK2 have said on this forum; the PSA 1.6 diesel needs to be nursed if you want it to last. So more frequent oil changes. Put me off looking at them that's for sure.

  15. My Satnav wasn't working correctly as I was on 3.6.The secondary display behind the steering wheel always displayed the wrong exit at a roundabout. My dealer told me that there were no updates. I updated to 3.8 from the web. ETIS shows other software modules have updates. The Ford dealers say that they only update software if the car is on a recall. The mechanic I spoke to was very very ignorant regarding software. He told me that once they upgraded a car with the incorrect software and turned it from a manual to an automatic! Really that is what he said!!! He then went on to say that the car had to be written off as there was no way to load the correct software!!! My satnav still has problems yesterday it told me to exit a roundabout at exit 6. It showed going right around the roundabout twice to exit 2!!!! Found this thread and will see if this cures my problems. Ford is cheap and not very cheerful in my experience. The grease monkeys are just that and it is rather worrying that customers are more knowledgable than the so called experts.

  18. I find it annoying Ford don't give better after sales service with the tech stuff. If you buy a phone or sat nav you normally get free regular software updates. A car isn't a cheap item and the least they could do is update at annual service. Might get more people to go to the dealership if they did. I heard Ford Australia are now giving free sat nav updates, in the US you can download your own Sync software updates too. Why in UK are we so far behind every where else? End of rant. 23. Sorry to hear mate. Females will never be an easy one, you just gotta find the right one which you think is worth putting up with! My advice would be to accept it, move onwards and upwards and don't get your hopes up for anything. Go out and enjoy yourself and have fun, you're young and you don't wanna be tied down. The right one will come along when the time is right trust me!

  24. Hi LukeEdge, This is the service I had done, http://allthatgleams.co.uk/detailing/new-car-protection-detail/ They had the car for a full 24 hrs (actually 26 hrs). The finish was amazing and the bedding and sheeting of liquids on the outside is superb, best I've ever seen. I also added the premium Wheel sealant. This is the ceramic coating they applied. http://www.cquartz.co.uk/ ( I had Pro) I was really impressed with the detailers service. Simon

  25. I fitted one of these back in the very early eighties on a Ford Capri that I fitted a 2ltr engine to. It worked 100% and I fitted a bypass switch so that the fan would come on when I wanted by the switch. The reason was that the old engine had an old style viscose fan assy. not an electronic sensor type and this new sensor would save power from the engine by not running a fan all the time. your new system will work fine on yours and the engine will not overheat anymore unless you have other problems. I would as a precaution completely flush the radiator and system as well with a good 2 or three pack cleaner and add new fluid and anti freeze as that may help a bit too (you will be surprised at how mucky it can get even in a short time). Unfortunately I cant help with the wiring as this will depend on the exact kit you have but I am sure some one can. The only thing is (I'm not sure on this) does a modern car computer need the temp senders signal to set parameters for the fueling system among other things this would be worth looking into. Of course your new system may have a confection to the gauge for this.

  27. aligattors in florida, we chose a house that didnt back on to the lake where the aligattors live fortunatly, but have seen them on the side of the road in ditches. just been into walmart, they sell everything there from toilet roll to guns, turkey to tyres, tvs to crafts, you can even get your lube service done while you shop( and yes i did wonder what that was. lol oil and filters changed on your pick up truck) and rounds of amunition on the shelf like its tins of beans. what did concern me earlier was the speed of trucks passibg us on tge roads, a fed ex articulated lorry and trailer attatched went passed us on the inside lane at over 75mph, (thats what we were doing) probably 80mph. and they dont stop when lights go to red(probably couldnt stop at those speeds)

  28. Hi Luke edge, I'm pleased yours turned up so has mine. I've had mine detailed and a ceramic coating added, i think it makes the colour really pop, ( the photo not surrounded by other fords) still only seen one other on the road, liking the rarity.

  29. Apologies for the apparent silence Kieran; I didn't get a notification of your reply! Since we last spoke I've actually managed to pick up another engine up from eBay. With a purported 20k miles and still with most ancillaries (incl. the turbo) it cost the princely sum of 99p! The seller didn't know the history of it and it seems that his honesty led to no one bar me bidding! My original plan was to strip it down to learn how it's designed/built but having spoken to him about its provenance I think it probably is a runner. For 99p though I can't really go wrong no matter what I do with it so maybe I'll take it apart anyway...

  30. That is totally incorrect information,, the usb port on the 8M5T-19G48-Ax module is a service port only and not USB, You need a 8M5T-19C112-Ax (USB version) for USB use and the unit is marked on the label "with USB" the last digit signifies version and you need vers N or later for streaming from phone, in my case it was a straight swap for use with Sony 6cd dab unit plus a cheapy usb lead and nothing else.

  36. Was it an outfit she bought to go out in with you or a night with her pals? I've found if you wind your other half up over what she wears when you're not with her they get pretty bent out of shape about it. Seeing it as some kind of declaration of mistrust. If she is out with you then it's different in their head, or so I'm told. I can't say what you should do, but I know from past experiences and a decree nisi that I would walk away. If she has blocked you and won't answer your calls then leave her a voice message just saying you would like to talk and sort things out but you don't want to play games and humiliate yourself chasing her. Tell her if she wants to sort things out you are just a phone call away. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  40. I do like my insurance renewal has only gone up £21 Which after I've rung round a few others and tried the comparison sites, I should be able to negotiate downwards: if not obliterate. Despite the various reports in the media, saying everyone will see an increase of between £75-£150 this year,on account of the new algorithm insurers have to use ,and the chancellor's budgetary interference. juvenile crocodile? My cousin lives in Florida, and has had quite few incidents of stray baby crocodiles getting stuck in the pool

  41. I have a pair of Salomon walking shoes i use for work and general walking around. Can't fault them at all, but then i did only pay £20 for them! Best boots I've had by far are my Altbergs. I've got a pair of Defenders (army issue) and could wear them all day, every day. My motorcycle boots are also Altbergs. Fantastic quality boots, and the guys who make them are full of knowledge and laughs! I visited them to get my bike boots custom made, due to my small feet. Couldn't have asked for better service.

  42. As an Officer myself I can't comment on their procedures as they do vary by force however the speed cameras in the cars can pick you out from over half a mile away (can't divulge the actual technical specs). Traffic cops are known for being 'keen' though and you'll never win an argument with them as they know traffic laws inside out. The law is changing this month whereby the 10% leeway is being dismissed so be aware. Also please don't tar all of us with the same brush, I'm not looking for a knighthood, just a honest days wage like everyone else. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

  43. I didn't think the Mountune map could be removed? Certainly that was their advice for the 1.0 maps. Might be worth checking. Altenatively you could run a map that could be removed (Revo, Bluefin, etc) with Mountune warranty friendly hardware.

  46. When the 'power' map only costs and extra £50 over the £150 or so you're paying for a DPF delete you might as well go with it tbh! There's a major difference between remapping and tweaking to your engine (specifically turbo vanes) and just flashing someone elses standard map. This ECU is an awkward one though, I've flashed loads of EDC15 ECUs with a £10 cable. Not worth the risk on the EDC16 in these though.

  47. Option 3 is what I have had for over 2 years (maybe 3) and no complaints at all. Runs more smoothly, better mpg and better reliability that it has ever had. I might get a Terraclean done sometime soon just as a preventative measure. I would say I do more highway miles than city so that helps as well.

  48. ST wheels have been on my 'to buy list' for ages...i keep an eye out on ebay too......only recently got CAM belt/Tensioners/EGR valve replaced which cost a bomb so havnt really had an spare cash to do any mods. Wana get mine re-mapped too. As for lowering, I wouldnt mind getting that done as the ride height on the MK2 Saloon is ridiculasly high..i guess it has to be to allow for the clearance of the boot which over hangs at the rear. But part of me enjoys the height as gives a great all round view from cabin and the ride is very nice...better than the hatchback and the handling is sharp...lowing it might effect all that.
