Focus Mk1 - Top Central Brake Light

Hi everyone,

I noticed that my rear windscreen washer leaks into the parcel shelf of my Ford Focus Mk1 (2000). Therefore, I attempted to remove the central brake light, but I couldn't remove it completely as it looks too long to come out the gap. But I did see tape around the washer tubing which suggests that the previous owner tried sealing up a hole before and the tape is coming off.

Just wondering, how do you remove the top central brake light when it looks too long to come out the hole?

EDIT: it looks like it's where the plug plugs in to the brake light that's making it impossible for me to take it out. How do you remove the plug to take it out?

Thanks!

it comes out you slide it sideways a bit and it comes out at an angle quite easily done a few of them push the light in towards the holder slide to the right slightly and pull out you cant get the plug off without removing the light first no matter what you try if you pull down the roof liner in the back at the top youll probably find its wet youll either have to trim the burst theres a small amount of slack under the roof liner youll see the hose is tucked into a clip pull it out and then take up the slack and clip it back in
