Erm..... I've never added it up but I know I spent MUCH MUCH more on my Mk1

So many questions!

Firstly congratulations on a cracking looking MK2 saloon. I have exactly the same model as you ( 2005 2.0TDCI Titanium 6-speed saloon), its even the same colour, but have yet to make any modifications. There are hardly any modified MK2 Saloons out there. I don’t like the boy-racer look, much prefer subtle mods. Right heres the questions…

1. Where did you get ya wheels? Those are the exact wheels I want, either in the same colour or the silver. They are so expensive on the ford website:-(

2. Where can I get the silver armrest mouldings….are they easy to fit?

3. How did you colour code the thin rear bumper strip? Did ya have to take it off, sand it down, prime it then spray it??

4. Has the lowering of the car made any major difference to its handling?

5. Where did ya get the crome fog light surrounds? Are they the surrounds from the MK2 Focus Cabriolet?? Easy to fit?

the focus looks excellent mate, a roof rear spoiler would look sweet, you know the ones like the audi s4 has just a small colour coded extension sticks to the top of the rear window, i saw the for sale for the focus some where recently ill try find a link.

Here it is,

would also blow the rain off the rear window as you drive, by deflecting the wnd downwards along the rear window,

like the st spoiler on the hatch does.

Glad you like what i've done to it.

1. Got the wheels 2nd hand off a guy on another Focus forum but had them refurbed at The Wheel Specialists in Derby/Burton and thats what they came up with they are not a standard colour, glad you like it though 8)

2. THIS IS NOT A SIMPLE MOD

They are not painted, they are silver trims that cannot be bought separate from Ford therefore I bought 4 door cars from a club member for £41.58 inc P&P is was a job I've been putting off for a while as I know it would take time and patience and if it went wrong would cost me.....

The handles are bonded onto the door cars along with the carpet trim therefore requires lots of drilling and filing of the old and new door card.

It was a nice day and I was in a good mood so decided to spend the afternoon drilling, filing and sticking.

I drilled it all off from the back of the door card and put it all back together with a hot glue gun :)

RESULT

3. I had the whole back bumper painted at a bodyshop

4. The handling is much improved and its not a harsh ride but is slightly firmer and less roll on corners feels much safer.

5. They are the CC foglight surrounds and will not fit standard fog lights as if you notice I have the CC front bumper.
