jlb141289
hi all, ive bought a focus in the last month and aswel as a minor problem with an oil light being illuminated theres also a "vibrating" noise coming from the passenger footwell area when the heating is put on anything past number 2 setting. I have a haynes manual and investigated a bit further and went on to remove the glove box and disconnect the heater blower motor and remove the fan. when the fan is out of the housing and switched on it makes no noise at all, however when placed back in the housing and secured it still seems to be catching and i dont really know why. It makes me think that its not the manufacturer fitted item and that its slightly too big. does anyone have any ideas about solving this? if its just a case of getting a new component does anyone know where would be best to get it from? thanks jason
