I have new low profile tyres. Front and rear tracking checked and adjusted. Car has electrical assist steering. Car tends to follow road imperfections. Is this normal. Used to focus 2.0 petrol estate 2000. Beautiful road holding and positive steering. Please advise.

low profiles are at risk of bumping the road and buckling, so I would watch out for any of that, but it sounds like either Tracking, Alignment, or camber are out on your car.Ge

t a full alignment and balance done and the issue should go away. As long as the car hasnt any accident history, then the likes of steering knock are not likely to be a problem.
