Bradley_F
I have a MK1 Focus, And the central locking will work for 3 doors. The door not to work is the drivers side. When I press the unlock button it opens 3 doors but not the drivers side. When in the car, I press the unlock button and I hear a clicking type noise coming from under the steering wheel compartment. It doesnt click when I press lock though. The door is able to lock and unlock by placing the key into the hole and turning it, It just doesnt work by using the remote key. Any help or suggestions will be appreciated. Bradley.
jeebowhite
Sounds like possibly a seized door lock / solandoid. You would ideally need to remove the door card and soak silicone lubricant into the locking mechanism and see if you can free it.
