What Milage Is Your Escort Van (Poll)

5 posts in this topic

Hi all just a bit of research what milage is your escort van on? I have a 2001 (y) that has covered 225179 miles on the original engine. She is now getting a bit tired on hills but starts first time and doesn't smoke just pasted mot and still solid underneath. Would like to know some of your escort van milage's. Just a general research thread

cheers all

steve

My 1989 Mk4 Combi van 1.8D had 200k miles on the clock when I retired it in 2004.

I had it from new (originally a company van for me, which I then bought from the leasing company).

The engine was fine, it was just the bodywork that was falling to bits, and getting expensive on the MOTs!

I should've taken up welding, looking back!

Yeah bodywork is like a teenager with spots as soon as you get rid of one bubble another one pops up.
