MattDRX
Evening all, Anyone know if that foam thing in the boot will hold a full size wheel? There is a single St wheel on eBay, might nab it and use it as the spare ice etc. Would go and measure it myself but it's stupidly hot and I'm currently naked and cba to get dressed now. Stoney871
Not a nice image in my mind. Thanks for that!! If the car is currently carrying a space saver then the foam will be shallower and the boot carpet will sit lower. You'd need a full size spare insert which means you'll lose some boot depth after fitting. Philf1
Matt the foam thing I'm guessing you mean is the one that holds the tyre gunk stuff? If so it doesn't fit inside a wheel. You will need to get hold of one made to fit indie the wheel and hold the jack and wheel brace that you'll also need to buy. I got a wheel and the foam thing, jack etc off eBay for about £80 delivered when I bought my ZS in 2013 then just transferred it to the ST when I changed cars. Ikoyian
I saw on another Forum that someone had fitted a full size spare in the back of his ZS, mind you it was the 16" so I presume it can be done, but needs custom things done for you to be able to do so. In my eyes it's not really worth it :S
Stoney871
You need the deeper boot insert, wheel securing screw, jack storage tray and a different boot floor/carpet as the space saver floor is not wide enough to cover the boot once the level is raised. You could just raise the original foam with a couple of pieces of polystyrene under each side and then put a rubber boot mat over the existing floor carpet.
