lou68
Hi there... I am new to this forum and have done a search but not turned anything up with my problem. For the last few months the USB has been returning to the very first track on my USB's (i have 2) when the engine had been switched off. So a real pain when you have lots of mp3 files to try find the place you were at ! Its most infuriating. I have had my Fiesta just over 3 years and never had an issue before. I do run the scan option when I put the USB into the laptop to transfer any new music, just a precaution. i was wondering if anyone else has ever had this problem and if there is a fix at all? Thanks. Phil 87
If it was working before, I'd guess if you can reset the system somehow that should fix it, but I think you have a different head unit to me so I wouldn't know how. It might be worth looking through the settings and see if there are any options to reset. If not maybe someone else can advise if there is a fuse that could reset it, or even disconnecting the battery. Edit: I actually have a similar problem with mine which is that sometimes it will say the USB device has been disconnected, but usually it comes right back and I have to choose a track again. This is very rare though and doesn't really bother me. I don't know if this is related, probably not because you have an older car.
