ben007
Just removed my Sony headunit (bluetooth enabled) and the harness has some what can only be described as aftermarket type cabling and connections, I'm guessing this is to do with the bluetooth hands free but not sure Can anybody advise what they are and do I need a special connector to convert to ISO as opposed to an everyday ford converter harness Cheers Ben
Dee_82
doesn't that connector have everything from BT to audio stalk, canbus functions, acc on, 12v, mic, audio out, aux in, all of that stuff, I cant find the page from here but the wiring diagrams list it all for us, I have an aftermarket HU now and it used that connector with a conversion cable in to the HU. ben007
What's puzzled me is the three thick black cables and not exactly professional installation technique (tape) I haven't got a schematic so I can only do the basics ie speaker wiring and power etc
ben007
Meant to add I can work out that the two 8pin connectors will be bespoke for the radio and prob standard on all fords with this type of connector One of the smaller blocks (12pin) will be for the stalk etc but unsure of the other

ben007
Cheers for the schematic stoney I'm presuming the the aux input in the glovebox will be one of the thicker cables and the other two for the bluetooth (guessing the mic is in the front interior light compartment in the headline)
