My parents have a 2011 Ford Focus automatic, that has developed a fault where it shudders in 2nd gear and sometimes struggles to go into reverse. It has only developed over the past couple of weeks. Pullock Posted November 9, 2016 Share Posted November 9, 2016 Enter their VIN or Reg on https://www.etis.ford.com/ under the vehicle section. Check for any outstanding field actions, my automatic Fiesta had this and it needed a TCM (Transmission Control Module) update, after this it was fine.
