Drivers side indicator problem

Well the issue returned!
This time I was determined to figure out what the hell was going on.

Did some wire tracing and checked every light available on the car, both internal and external.

You won’t believe what it was...

The connector on the fog light had cracked and caused water ingress, makes sense because I got my car washed and it went worse the indicating problems.

So, that’s been disconnected for the time being and contacts cleaned to ensure they’re not shouting out.

Put the led turn signals back in, no issues what so ever. Turns out they’re spot on!

I did wonder if the problem would return. Good to know it wasn't the LEDs, like Phil said, I'm pretty sure they aren't on the CANbus monitoring

Always satisfying to find the real cause of a problem, and for it to be something obvious or fixable! Nice work tracing it back!

I'm not usually wrong twice on the same thread! Lol!

On another but related note, my sequential mirror indicators are due to arrive on the 10th November. That's 4 days before an assignment due date, so that can be a nice reward for getting it done!

Yeah, I’m absolutely made up. Took my time figuring it out but just imagine how much a mechanic would of charged for that?

Wheyyyy you’re gonna love them! Want a video of them on mine when I lock and unlock? Just so you get an idea of how good they are? At night they are amazingly bright!

There is always a first time [emoji6] I manage it quite easily\often lol.

Mine are due on the 4th November, I have nothing due so I'm just rewarding myself for not bowing to peer pressure and studying lol
