FORD FOCUS MK2 FACELIFT MYSTERY HOSE

Featured Replies

A long narrow hose approx half an inch by 22 inches in length has fallen from inside the engine compartment of my 2009 facelift Ford Focus 1.6 petrol Estate

and I`ve not been able to located where it`s come from. It appears to be some kind of drain hose.

Any help in resolving this mystery would be appreciated.

Probably a drain off from the scuttle panel below the windscreen.
Look for a connector right up under where the wipers sit.

It's definitely the scuttle panel drain hose.

Thanks for that guys. Had a feeling that`s what it was but been unable to find location it`s come away from as it`s not an easy place to find a hole.

Pour some water over the windscreen, see where it comes out?
