I've been bored out of my mind - had some annual leave so have had nearly two weeks off - so gave some back and worked overtime instead - saved me from talking to the toaster (it hasn't spoken back yet...)

Also found that ALDI's own brand hand cream isn't bad at all! I wonder how much of this alcohol gel we put on our hands actually gets absorbed? 😅

I Dettol'd my face the other day after being sneezed near at a supermarket checkout...  (Literally the one place in the entire week I couldn't avoid being near people! )  Then remembered how porous skin is and realised that was probably a bad idea!

I washed my mouth out with pure detol and face around 15 years ago after meeting a girl in a nightclub; was only when the music stopped that I could hear by her accent she was actually a traveller 😳

Changed the battery in the focus today; 

From a Bosch S4 which was showing signs of expiring as it was fading in cold weather display on my capacitor this morning was showing 11.4v 

The Bosch S5 is designed for a vehicle which operates a few extra accessories such as amplifiers and cameras, 

here is the old S4 which is five years old next to the brand new S5 

I then fitted the S5 which didn't take long atall but involved removing the lid and filter from the induction box

Put everything back together; Started the engine and ran it for half an hour holding the revs at 1,000rpm to top up the charge rather than driving around during lockdown. 

Switched off the engine and checked the capacitor now showing 14.3V which is fantastic. 

Our kids bought some Craola chalk on Amazon with some Pocket money last week and got very creative with it yesterday.

 

@jmurray01 here's some good gardening tips from hale and pace 😂. Went out today to see the grandparents to give them food for my sisters birthday. Actually made me a little happy go out moving away from my room I've been stuck in for a few days heartbroken

 

 

Fitted the iR receiver for my xtrons ice/vdo/fv006 tv tuner 

Inside the garage door compartment of my mk2.5 focus 

The remote also fits inside this pocket when not in use 

Had to drill another hole in the main dash to correspond and fit the head of the iR receiver loom through which thankfully didn't meet any cables during drilling 

Nicely fitted now

Installing the HDMI and USB socket in the centre console arm rest now at the moment 

Passenger side puddle light replaced doing the drivers side tomorrow

I've took them apart first to see the quality and they do have a cree led chip fitted says cree+ on the chip 

I've created a guide on fitting them a few years back: 

The original ones that I fitted were cree aswell; but they started to flash like strobes in the past year or so; 

I recommend fitting on crimp terminals like I have done as it makes them very easy to replace in time.

Yes, live at the end of the road, and always reverse on to the drive tucking the into the far left of drive. My OCD doesn't go as far as straightening the wheels.

I bet you check the rear view mirror and door mirrors are in a position to your liking every time you get in the car though! 😉

I wonder how many people check their indicators and brake lights before setting off? Not many I'd guess! Or check the tyres.

Nope, I'm the only who drives my car so interior mirror never moves, and the door mirrors are memory ones that move when I reverse then go back to there original position. As for lights the bcm checks them for me .
