LEXROKS86
Hoping someone can help! Recently, my gear stick has started playing up when trying to select 1st gear. If stopping at a junction and trying to select 1st gear, if I push too hard, I hear an audible click from the gearstick area and it slips into reverse. Anyone experienced similar issues on their cars? I'm hoping it's a cheap easy fix. TIA.

Frembrit
Where is reverse? is it next to 1st? do you normally lift a collar to allow you to select reverse? On my car I have to lift a collar under the gear knob and move it right and back, next to 6th gear.
LEXROKS86
Yeah, I usually have to lift the collar. But not it can be knocked into reverse accidentally if I'm slowing down and stopping at junctions.
