Anyone with Forscan on the Wirral able to set my battery charge to 95%

Resurrecting this old thread 😀.

Do any of the posters know if increasing the SOC is possible on a 2016 Mk3.5 Focus ST ?? (I know it is possible on Mk4)

I would like to do this, I have the latest Forscan version, and the expensive recommended cable, however when I connect to the car in Central Configuration,  I navigate to BCM, but I can find no mention of Battery, let alone Battery Target %.

I have googled it to death, and spent hours on the Forscan forum, but nothing for UK Mk3.5 Focus.

A newbie to Forscan, but not coding, maybe I'm missing something, or in the wrong screen ??

TIA.

Sadly the SOC settings only became available for the first time on the 2018 Focus Mk4. On earlier models you can't adjust the SOC. Having said that, there should be no need to alter the charge settings on a Mk3.5 since they don't use the same crazy emissions smart charging that the Mk4 does.

Thanks for that, does some short journeys, but just driven to the middle of France and back, and still Start/Stop doesn't work (not that I want it to) just and indication of the SOC of the battery 🙄.

Maybe time to try a new battery ??

Hi all,

Having problems with a 2020 Ford Puma which just decided to go into deep sleep and cut all power. Been charging but still keep getting battery saving mode active on the app so going to try and adjust the SOC.

Do you still need to have the unit which plugs into a laptop or can you use the below on an iOS phone and adjust?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can't programme with the Phone versions of FORScan.

Thank you, will have to see if I can find anyone with a laptop I can use.

As already said above, you can only programme using the Windows version of FORScan and the 'vLinker FS' cable.
