Can I fix snapped plastic headlight fixture?

Hi all,

This is regarding my 2009 Galaxy, but is general to most vehicles I think.

I changed my lights for MOT and found that the replacement has a broken fixture so I can only screw it in with one screw, hence is now a bit wobbly.

Is there anything I can do to secure it?

I’ll add photo of what I mean.

Easiest fix would be to drill a small hole through the plastic and then cable tie it.  But you might find the light cluster sits too far back and creates a high beam aim.

Proper fix would be to cut a small piece of metal or plastic roughly the size of the missing section.  Then drill a small hole each end, screw or nut/bolt that to the plastic section, and bolt in to the car with the original bolt.

Alternatively, send it back and get one that isn't broken.
