Hi,

I'm trying to set up my ford Kuga PHEV so that when plugged in, it only charges between midnight and 0800 in the morning.

 

I'm using the FordPass Pro app but I can't seem to make it happen. It looks like you need to save a charging location, after which you can set charging times for that location.

I found it really difficult to actually save a location (it normally failed) and the two times I have been successful, it's immediately forgotten as soon as I plug the car in.

Am I doing something wrong? Or is there a better way to do it?

Hello Matt, I know this is the second time you have asked for help with this problem. The trouble is there are so few members with a Kuga PHEV, it could be quite a long wait before anyone can answer you.

Personally I'd recommend a visit back to the Ford dealership and ask for someone there to explain how to set up the charging times.

Hi, not sure if you have figured this out yet, but I find it much easier to set the schedule via the chargers app, alternatively if you are using a ‘dumb’ charger then the schedule is best set in the car itself as it works smoother than the app.
