unofix Posted January 13 Share Posted January 13 As far as I know on an Escort diesel, you can't just replace the diesel pump. It is part of the anti-theft security system and the PATS system will disable the ECU to prevent the engine from running. It may be possible to use FORScan or ELM to reprogram the GEM or reload the original profile data to the replacement diesel pump. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
