mikey2000
Hi All, Our nearly new Galaxy has a very annoying keyless entry system. I'm trying to figure out how to turn it off and just use the good old fashioned lock/unlock buttons on the remote fob. I just can't get on with the key free/keyless and find I have a deep distrust of it.... The owners manual online suggests there should be a menu setting called Vehicle/Settings/Keyfree but my settings menu doesn't have that option. Am I missing something glaringly obvious? I had no problem disabling key free on my fiesta and kuga (via the menus!). It just seems my galaxy is missing that menu option. Any clues from anyone? Ta! unofix
Not all versions and variants have all of the same options. With the use of FORScan many features can be added or removed from the instrument cluster menu's. On the Focus Mk4 menu it is 'Settings > Vehicle settings > Locks > Keyless' Have you checked in the 'Locks' option to see if it is in there ?
