    Is it a simple straight swap?  Think I’ve read that there is a reset procedure. That the case?

    The Battery Monitoring System (BMS) should only be reset if a new battery has been fitted.

    Put it on charge for 24hrs before fitting and definitely before resetting the BMS. New batteries are not supplied fully charged.

    I still havent changed the battery and have had no further issues, however this morning I thought I'd check the voltage and it is reading 12.17v.

    Looking on the Halfords site they seem to have reduced their batteries by a considerable amount. Maybe moving on old stock?

    A fitted EFB096 has been reduced from £267.99 to £189.00.
