Got home today, and the good lady tells me the exhaust is hanging off !

I`ve had a quick look underneath and it appears to be only the back box.

Has anyone fitted a rear box to a Fusion? and if so how much of a B***** job was it ?

I`m going to have a ring round tomorrw for prices, do you think its worth asking Ford`s Rapid fit, or should i stick with Kwik fit etc?

Its a 1.4TDCI 2005 Series 1 Fusion PLUS.

hi mate,

if its just the pipe broken away from the joint to the back box,

id go to kwik fit mate as ford will be £50 for ''Hello''

then whatever the cost to fix it

but if its a back box you need which i doubt you do then id go to ford

I have never done an exhaust on a fusion but i have done a few other cars. usually they are not hard to fit. you will need to measure the new part against the existing system and cut the old one to suit. its then just a case of clamping it on and sticking the rubber mount on.
