Well the new dealer said that I should expect delivery mid to late September, which I am more than happy with. Just gutted that I lost that month.

Only downer is that I have to collect the car myself...200 mile trip in the scrap car, then drive back 200 miles :-( (but in a nice new car ;-))

OH it seems like a lifetime all this waiting . . . .

    Not sure if this is a general thing but a friend who brought a Panda through the scrappage scheme had to deliver the old car to them for when the new one was delivered (they said that they had to take it at that time for the discount to be valid) and then the new one did not arrive but they sent the old one for scrap and she has now been left carless for over 2 weeks!
