With those wheels wouldn't it be hard to get the grime out?

Naa its fairly easy :) time consuming but worth it lol! You can get proper brushes for the wheels but I am aleays scared it scratches them

Me too. Just cleaned mine and waxed them with wonder wheels used nothing but a soft cloth and leather to dry before applying the wax pictures attached

Delivery now completed :)

Lovely to drive and TOTALLY AMAZED at the power of the 1.0 engine! It goes like a rocket and purrs like a big cat :D

That's progress then? So lots more cars on the road with no tax discs, how will police/traffic wardens know if your car is in this 14 day period?

So why do we need to display tax discs at all then! Stupid pink coloured things in stupid holders that peel off your windscreen and very slightly reduce your visibility!

Given a letter to show to any police or traffic warden if they question the non-disc.

The offence used to be "failure to display a current road fund licence" but due to changes within DVLA, more online disc purchases, and other pretty boring reasons the offence is now "failure to own a current road fund licence".

We just have to do PNC and vehicle database checks now.

You are still required to display a disc, if held, or you will be pulled over for checks to be carried out, delaying you for 20 minutes each time and leaving you open to having a fine tooth comb run over you and your car each time.

You don't really want to have that happening every week/day/hour do you? :D

Well it will have to be like that until the little round thing arrives in the post.

Have something to stick in the windscreen meantime. Shouldn't have to as the reg will tell all and the police and authorities are supposed to be clued up........!

Dont say that!! Haha!! Waited 12 weeks for a factory ordered Fiesta ST, should arrive at the dealership today, finance docs tomorrow then pickup weds hopefully!! Cannot wait....had two delays already so I'm half expecting something else to go wrong :-(

I got a good deal on the S so should have splashed out on the ST

Anyway, done now and I'm happy. Parked at the beach in Aberdeen this morning and someone passed saying 'oh, he's got a new car' Smile on face for me!

Also parked at Halfords after getting a few things and it looked real good in the car park.

Yeah there have been some incredible deals with the Zetec S! Picked mine up 2 months ago for 11.5k, factory miles on it and a few extras :-)

I'm not wanting to cut or sand down anything so will look for small squares of plastic to superglue together then stick to the badge then stick to the space in the grille.

Yeah the zetec s would give the ST A good run for its money! 14 weeks I waited and I can safely say it has been well worth it! I actually think I have fell in love with my car! Lol! I havent had the chance too go take pictures yet because I cant stop driving the thing for long enough! Haha! I know a good few spots for photos around my way soo will go and get some took :)

Was thinking of ordering one, how much was it? Also interested to see if it works sticking it to the grille as you mentioned. Can you put some pictures up when you've done it?
