Nice find Lenny. Looking forward to seeing it all fit together and the car on the road :)

Thanks mate,

All going well ill be fitting it on Sunday ;)

Few nuts and a lock mechanism

Should be as easy as fitting an ST spoiler and rear footwell lighting to a focus.

Paid the insurance on the car today,

Ill sort the tax next week followed by booking the MOT or that's the NCT to me and you pal ;)

Each time I read these updates I get wishful that I had half the balls that you have when working on cars :P I applaud your self taught experience on all the work you have done on your motor Lenny, keep up the good work!

I was gonna get the bonnet carbon wrapped to match the spoiler centre beam and end caps :)

I've touched up the bonnet scratch so doesn't look as bad,

Ill get back to you tomorrow with picture of the bolt and measuring tape, i don't have an expensive stainless steel ruler like yourself :D just a Stanley yellow roll tape.

I think they are M6 though and found a few spare M6 when cleaning it out very first time so ill give em a try,

I'm in bed now as in work at 23:00

Ive Got quite a bit white carbon wrap B)

:D don't tempt me mate,

cant see myself wrapping the Levin quite as good as clarkson done his golf in the new episode on bbc last Monday night,

Looking forward to fitting next Sunday,

Its fin is adjustable but currently angled at almost 45 degrees

So it will be even more difficult to see the cars out through the rear window disappearing :D

Im thinking a white stripe down the car with the black side panels but white roof and bonnet as well, I think it will stand out like nothing the guarda have stopped before! :p

Gardai

She's looking pretty! Can't wait to see what you decide with the colour :P

Lenny that white would make the car really stand out! you lose a lot of body styling with black imho. But its a lot of money for a respray though, is your baby worth it? :p Saying that I do like the whole stealth look, black on antherite alloys or just black on black ;)

You will be driving around making swishhhing noises like knight rider! Lol

:D thanks guys,

I agree white looks good on it but white ones are very popular as you can see from all the parts I'm gathering there white too,

I don't think its worth changing the colour would be around 2000 compared to maybe 1200 to have it sprayed same again.

Plus not too many black ones around,

Black with blue lighting, blue hoses, blue calipers and gold rota boost alloys. :)

The original 205 black BZR Boot panel and rear spoiler removed from the car yesterday has been packaged in the vertical position to ensure it doesn't get double stacked in transit on Monday.

Sad to see this part go but nice to see a balance in the PayPal account

Managed to source a set of AE101 Levin side skirts and a set of AE111 Trueno tail lights, collecting them 8th March because I've to pay for tax&insurance on Levin next week aswell as insurance on the focus.

Here are the AE101 side skirt they come up higher on the body and were later called "TOM's" skirts made available as an optional extra on the AE111

Here are the Trueno tail lights,

Straight swap from the BZR tail lights these units are from the less tuned model but i prefer them because they have less red and no black lines

No mate,

They were some used Goodyear dash wipes,

on special offer in Aldi last Thursday, bought two packs used one pack to clean the white boot panel free of algae lol

Review on the wipes?

Although branded Goodyear there not good wipes lol very dry and dont clean very well.

I bought some in Dealz to clean the inside of the dash when taken apart and they were much better and half the price.

Overall though i reckon Armourall brand wipes are best for normal cleaning of the dash

Gardai

I'm from a deprived area now, the chavs nicked my ability to spell :p
