Keep up the good work  :)

Thanks very much ill pm you now,

Scratches annoy me, its a coupe, not a transit, shouldn't have the scratches

Bet Vicki was upset when it didnt go BOOM, lol.

Could still go boom boom boom George I've still got windscreen under my bed.. ....and thanks for pointing out Leo's anal obsession for replacing parts with scratches ....that isnt normal is it?? ??

Leave me alone, i come on here to get away from you!!

The car originated from Japan, came all the way over it a 20ft container, it deserves to look emasculate inside and out,

My arms and back are killing me from all the various shapes i had to throw, in order to get all the screws and bolts in lol

Its great to have vents and a working fan that i can now switch off.

I've gotta order a cage for the pioneer stereo then i can fit the proper Levin single din pocket with stereo bracket.

I plan to have the end caps and centre bar hydro dipped in carbon fibre print and the side panels colour code to the body much like this

When fitted,

Should look somthing like this guys

Update:

When i purchased the car i was lucky to receive a set of Genuine Toyota Levin tailor fitted car mats,

These mats are a rare item in the AE111 world and can fetch as much as 200GBP in second hand condition,

I've watched them sell on the forums,

The matt's i have are in need of rug doctor treatment and ill sort that in the coming weeks,

There is a cigarette burn on the drivers one but nothing can be done about that,

They are around 30mm deep pile carpet with spiked rubber base, includes a saddle carpet for the rear that joins to both rear passenger mats.

Main reason I'm discussing them now is because:

When i was removing them from the car, there is an eyelet ring and carpet hook on the drivers one,

IMG_20140203_100656_zpsejsjjje_edit_1391

I lifted the mat and the original eyelet fell out from the mat,

IMG_20140203_095822_zps77gbih7_edit_1391

I thought id never get it repaired and cringed at the thought of how much a replacement would cost me as they are rare.

To my surprise i was in Aldi today browsing the tools and offers,

Found an assorted eyelet set selling for 02.50euro bargain..

Who would have thought Aldi could help you restore your car :)

IMG_20140203_095930_zpsh0txfef_edit_1391

All sorted now.

Fitted one slightly bigger than the original so it grips now where the other one didn't.

I'll rent a rug doctor again from Tesco in the coming weeks and personally give the mat's a good going over,

Its doubtful they have ever been carpet cleaned before so with a bit of luck i may get good results.

Use the point of a razor blade to fluff up the cig burn and surrounding area, so you break the burned melted bit up will help to disguise it, if still unsatisfied, if any pile comes off with blade, put a little glue onto cig burn and stick pile to it ;) , any frayed bits around edge of mat use lighter to remove as will seal ends and stop the fray. good find on the eyelet I love Aldi.

Sweet thanks George,

Ill check my back in the mirror: to find a razor blade ;)

Id probably set the whole mat of fire wouf!!

Burning the frayed edges

Pmsl. ..George get ur mind out of the gutter. ...helped direct his car into parking spot!!

Thats what I meant, there's you going around your daily business and some random guy asks you to help him park his car,

Two things wrong here Vicki.

1. He is a bloke and can reverse

2. Even if he couldn't, he would never admit it to a female,

UNLESS, he was showing his vulnerable side, so that takes us to No 3. and back to the beginning, you being easy Led and gullible lol.

2. Even if he couldn't, he would never admit it to a female,

Not even to another man!

He must have been on the pull lol
