Eibach Upgrade on mk7 Fiesta

Featured Replies

Ive got all the bits i wanted on order aswell... got

X pack, tech pack, Dress Kit, Rear Park Assist, Alloy pedals, Eibachs,

struggling to get a remap as its a tdci but am looking! reason i went for eibach is they dont void ur warrenty and the titanium has a bit of roll with it on sharp bends.... so wanted to firm it up a little!

was considering the sill protectors but cant be bothered at the minute! rrp is already at £18300!!!!! so think i will leave it at that for now...

OUCh £18300 is a lot for fiesta?! dont go on to the ford site they're silly prices on there... look at archers of ashby.. really good there!

since the date commited for our new fiesta titanium i have orderded the eibach lowering kit for it... always heard really good things about them so decided to get some...

got a titanium with x pack and dress kit amongst other things so think it will look a bit better after there fitted... it drops the front 35mm and rear 30mm.. (maybe other way round wasnt listening to the bloke tbh)

cost me £122 for kit and £60 to have them fitted so wasnt bad price either

lol!! where did u get them fitted? at a ford dealership? i work for fords so i would get the springs for quite a bit cheaper but noway would i get it fitted for £60 lol!! ill probs fit them myself!

Fiesta on Eibachs

Hope this helps a little, not a very clear picture but u can see from the cans underneath the car that it is dfeinately lower than standard.

Intending lowering my Zetec S at some point but I'm still not convinced with the Eibachs. Seen a Mk7 before that was lowered on Eibachs and it didn't look much different from standard.

The one that was lowered on H&R's looked much better.

I'm also not convinced with the pics from Pumaspeed they should've taken the before and after pics from exactly the same angle or even had the lowered one sitting back to back with the standard one that's sitting next to it.

Hello.

Manhoso

Thanks for the pics Manhoso - any chance you can take a pic with your lowered car sitting next to a non-lowered one so we can see the difference more clearly?

At first glance I would say it does look a lot better with the wheels fitting nicely into the arch rather than the car appearing to sit above the wheels

Sorry to disappoint you but the dealer is taking you for a walk around the park! The lower suspension kit that comes on the cars only drops the car 10mm all round compared to standard models. I checked this out beacuse i was thinking of getting the springs off www.pumapseed.co.uk.

It actually drops the titanium and zetec 30-35 mm, i called eibach direct as i work at a ford dealership... not sure about a zetec s as its lowered as standard.

where did u get 10mm from as if u ring eibach they quote 30-35mm on all fiesta models... i only asked about the titanium as thats what i ordered

Have to say that I agree with Ronnie - just from the pics alone you can see that the car has been dropped by more than 10mm.

And Shepshed Ford----very good there too. ;)

Having looked at those 2 pictures I am not sure that I am going to get this done now as it looks too low when it is on those 17" wheels.

Looks rather nice after its been lowered! and it definatly sits alot lower!! anything more and i think it would be silly! 30-35mm is more than enough..... seen a few zetec s with scuffed front lips... obv had encountered some kerbs!!

No the zetec s models come lowered 10mm as standard. I dont no what this is compared to the upgrade from ford. or if this is the upgrade.
