That much is very true, although a marksman can either follow for a second shot or If he has a scope, move 2mm for the next pop :-P

  • Then theres the good old........pull up, walk around to the rear of your car, remembering not to stand between the idiots car and your own [so the rest of the drivers behind the idiot can see what com

  • The best way to deal with a tailgater is to change lanes and let the idiot go. The more you sit in front of them the angrier you and the other driver get and a bigger chance of someone doing somethin

  • Vicki...we all know who wears the trousers...Tell Lenny to shave his legs - he'll suit the skirts better :p

The only way to settle this is to attempt both options and see what happens.

Haha, rubber bullets only and having dogs with mouth guards in place and I might volunteer

Your man wasn't very happy when he said you will feel the pressure ha ha

Do what I do.... :). Drop it down and floor it to leave them standing :).

Wave them around ye & as they slowly overtake ye wind down the window & give them a hand shake regarding there only option at pleasuring themselves lol

So that's how you managed to do over 60 in a 30 zone :p Sorry, couldn't resist.

That's what I (try to) do, but they usually catch me up :(

Oh I see vicky is back

Wonder when she will be creating her new guides?

That's if lenny hasn't already stolen them

They always tailgate me when I'm approaching a national speed limit, and unlike them I don't want to start accelerating about 100 yards from the sign. But I've yet to see one of them keep up when I decide it's time to go up to 60 :)

Then when 30limit starts again they eventually catch up and sit on !Removed! again looking smug like they have been there all the time. I like it when people behind you take to the outside lane when one appears hoping to get past, then end up stuck out there for no reason when you shoot off leaving them miles behind. Not that long ago I had a motorbike beside me that wasn't getting ahead, I had my window open and heard him drop a gear in order to get past. Funny thing was we were doing 70 by then so I held back and let him go. Bet he wasn't expecting the car he tried to overtake to keep up lol.

reading these comments its seems to me the only viable option to keep tailgators away is to buy an ST :P

hahaha good one waz but still dont see that putting them off

Not sure if this has already been covered, but the one thing that really winds me up is people who cut up your safe driving distance....

I am not a serial speeder by any stretch, but if the traffic in the 'fast lane' is doing 80mph I will keep up with it.

I do a lot of motorway driving and I will leave a good 1.5-2.0 second gap to the car in front, and some idiot will always cut in and force me to drop back a little bit more.

It borderline makes me angry when it happens constantly.

I refuse to drive too close to people, I value my life and I love my car

It makes it worse cause you get all the chavs wanting to try and race lol
