So... I'm gonna be buying a mk6 ST, basicaly just out of interest I'm wondering how many gears it has?

Also I'm wanting an exhaust that's gonna pop and bang, what's best?

Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC

I'm pretty sure it has 5 gears. I don't know why Ford seem reluctant to give a 6th gear to any Fiesta except the current ST.

They have a 5 speed box.

Exhust wise if you decat it you should get the noises you want. Theyre not legal and wont pass an MoT bht that doesnt stop people.

Pop and bang is from an Overrun remap not just an exhaust, any half decent local tuner will create a map for you for the price of a superchips crap. but will need to be decatted otherwise it'll kill the cat.

Oh well, decat it is then haha

Won't a decat fail the MOT now though?

Also please don't go for those fake whoosh noises on changing gear. Everytime I hear one I just think t0sser. Sorry but it does attract a certain reputation.

Fake whoosh noises? Bit difficult to even get a real woodshed noise on a normally aspirated car like a mk6 ST.

It sure will.. There will be nothing fake about the whoosh noises... Especially when I get the induction kit.

Infact I can't see it making any whoosh noises atall haha, maybe a little from the induction kit but that'll be after changing gear
