oh its one from work, we have a link with Ford Direct; not sure how much trouble i'll get for posting a pic!

Well I'm glad to hear that it looks like the picture I posted. Have ordered a car on the hope it is like the spy pics, lol.

I recently bought the zetec s 1 litre ecoboost in frozen white and fully loaded and with the styling pack. Absolutely chuffed to bits with it. A little sceptical with 1 litre as had a 1.8 Astra Sri but wow, turbo kicks in and goes like a rocket! £30 annual road tax......quids in!

Got my chassis number yesterday and the dealer said the car was showing as body offline.

From what I have read that means the chassis is built and it will be painted next before the main assembly :D

I'll post up the ETIS result for those who are interested when I'm on the PC later.

Is it just me who thinks that factory is ludicrously to quiet? And the speed they where travelling down the row of transporters was nail biting, seeing them come mum's from taking the mirrors off lol.

It's an interesting video but they missed a lot of important bits like engine install, wiring etc. Those would have been good to watch.

You do kind of see the engine install, the car is lowered on to a complete front suspension/engine/gearbox/brakes/etc assembly...

Nice spec! A lot more toys than my old one, did find it too much like standard Zetec spec inside.

Still no brochure yet.

Only seen spyshots of the front, no idea what back or inside looks like, haha. I know enough about the spec/trim to know it is what I want though :)

Oh is that the grey they unveiled the diesel ST in? pretty stealthy!

Magnetic is available on the ST in NA, but not in EU.

In EU, the grey colour for the ST (such as at Goodwood) is called Stealth, it is a bit lighter and "flatter" I think.

I'd guess brochures and configurators will all be working properly by November when the demos turn up.

I imagine they don't want to push the literature until real cars are able to be viewed in the showroom.

Just been in to the dealer for an update and it is showing as assembly offline which means its built just waiting to be released for transport :D

He's going to keep me posted of the status as it makes its way over. Apparently Ford prioritise customer orders to get cars out on the road, their demos haven't even been built yet and they ordered them before I did...
