Mk7 Canbus?

Featured Replies

Hi Gents,

Does anyone know 100% whether MK7 (2010 Titanium) has canbus monitoring any light bulbs? I'm looking into going 100% LED and want to get the appropriate bulbs (error free or normal)... I can assume that removing light bulbs would cause an error to occur but is there a way to read the faults without an OBD2 diagnostic tool?

Cheers

You won't get any errors changing to LED with the exception of the front / rear indicators which will require resistors.

Hi, What bout the tail/brake, tail, reverse and side indicator lights? it's all not on the canbus?

Nope, you wont have any problems changing then with the exception of the front / rear indicators as mentioned before.
