Things I Don't Like

Those silly sausage's that go round sticking these on cars!

Parked up last night and completely forgot about it today... I know for a fact the road is empty during the day and so I'd not have used up anyone's precious spot! What a piece !cheeessee!

Show organisers that send out tickets and passes last minute, then cram over 100 cars onto one of the smallest parts of the show... genius'

Check that the signs are completely legible, lines are clear and unworn and if continuous bays that the end lines are only single ones.

If any of these are not correct then you have grounds for appeal.

PCC are notoriously slack at keeping parking bays up to standard.

Will check, but I reckon this is probably the one road where all is well....knowing my luck...

I've calmed down a bit from it now, had a good shout at some silly aire sole who pulled out on me then gave ME the finger... So it's relaxed me somewhat, luckily he wasn't bigger or harder than me, otherwise he might have helped me lie down and have a doze too...

Aren't parking fines one of those things where you have to agree before it can be enforced? Especially if as you say the road was empty it's not like you caused any problems for anyone. But if it was me I'd probably bottle it and pay up.

When parking offences were decriminalised and handed to County Councils to enforce it went from being on safety grounds or to avoid congestion to purely for financial reasons.

Now City councils run it all and all they care about is how much cash they can get out of drivers.

Things I don't like - post holiday blues after coming from a 35C, sunny, seaside getaway. At least no more mosquitoes.

Where were you Steve? Its 38c in the day here in Kyrenia, North Cyprus. Luckily there is a nice breeze and its less humid!

Whats the weather like at home? Still dreadful? Sounds about right for an English summer.

I forgot that you go to the North. When are you coming back?

Weather has been wet and windy so you've picked the better week to be away :D

**edit**

Hate falling asleep in the evening and then waking up fresh in the early morning (though it's my own fault for leaving the PC on and coming online to post :)).

Yes we sure do, been coming here since i was a baby. Having a nice time and settling into the new house, I will miss not having a warm swimming pool on the doorstep!

Come home next Wednesday, the 5th. Hopefully the weather will cheer up a bit by then!

I was in Turkey :)

Everyone on the flight home looked like they wanted to jump off a bridge the moment the pilot announced the weather back at Gatwick lol.

Here it's 16C and cloudy in not-so-sunny Surrey, and further showers have been forecast. Yep, pretty dreadful.

Operation stack... Its a pain in the nads, and the immigrants are starting to annoy me now...

Oh lovely! I would like to go to the mainland. Its like a mini Turkey here haha.

Yep i don't know where 'Sunny Surrey' came from. There have not been many sunny days in all the time we've lived in it.

Non-existent customer service at my bank, and people ignoring emails.

Non-existent customer service at my bank, and people ignoring emails.

People ignoring emails is one that really annoys me. There are companies that actually know what customer service is, like Mountune who responded to my email the other day in a few minutes. And then there are 90% of other companies that seem to have these email addresses which are completely ignored.

As for banks, I think I've only walked into a bank a handful of times in the last 10 years. There aren't that many reasons to go to them direct these days.

I raise anything already on here for Holiday makers clogging my cornish roads up with caravans and brand new cars sticking to a solid 35 on all national limit roads. Emmets, who needs them.

Don't like my Mrs picking up the wrong bag on carrosel at airport. Walking out, then realising to late to be allowed back in to get hers!! All at 3am when lost luggage closed till 10am. Drive back to airport now!

Cornwalls tourist industry? :/

Iantt that's daft of the airport, surely there must be some poor sod wondering around looking for their bag too.... No way of a staff member literally just doing a swap? I guess no one wants to upset someone and do their job, they might strike!

Sorry mate but its the poor person that had to wait until the last bag had gone and then ended up without their case that i feel sorry for! Im sure you would be fuming if someone had taken yours because they didnt read the tag.

I hate people who can't just tell the truth on ebay when selling stuff, electrical stuff the main thing.

Had 2 mobile phones and both been sent back.

First one had faulty inside, said board was cracked and was stated NEW,battery flat in 5 hours, tried 3 new batteries......refund

Second one said only used a few times, 6 months old,ear speaker faulty, muffled and volume kept going loud and quiet .....refund.

Hours on getting them set up with apps and numbers and then just restore back.

I will try and stick to shops as i can go back there, sick of going to post office and waiting for refund.

Luckily for the person who's bag it was found us at car hire desk and told is it was his bag, he said there was a lonely bag going round and round. So he was happy anyway. My dopey Mrs fault. Lol. All sorted now, I went back this morning for hers. All chilled out now, happy in sun and beers in hand.

Oh well, i bet you will check the tags in future!

Have a good holiday, wish we were sat in the sun instead of this rain! We cant justify blowing a couple of grand on a hol this year with a baby on the way and lots of things to buy! Heres hoping for a sunny August!:)

Pigeons pooping all over the window sills. Filthy flying rats.

Being amazed by what people can do....

How can you get **** on the toilet seat in the gym...?!? I mean really...

And if you do, why wouldn't you like... Wipe it off?!?

People amaze me how disgusting they are...

It doesn't affect me, I used a different one haha, but some bloke has to clean that up....dirty plebs...
