When you turn the ignition on, can you hear the fuel pump priming?

Have you checked the fuel filter? Air filter? As daft and Unrelated as it may sound, have you checked the oil and coolant? What's the mileage of the car?

Ah okay. Timing belt look okay? Any dashboard warning lights? Have you tried connecting an OBDII fault code reader? Even just a 5pound eBay bluetooth job would do, that's what I use

Did you put the right fuel in? If the case was you put the wrong fuel in the original fuel will still be in the pipes and will cut out around 5 miles. That could be your problem

By any chances is your fiesta a diesel due to a lot of cheap fuelling stations morrisons, tescos, etc... Have water mixed in with the fuel and probably that is your situation a lot of AA have colours all the time with this problem has been in the news recently
