    I've got a 14 plate fiesta, I use it for call outs so this would be great to show off in front of customers! Haha and also my boss. I'm interested in the £2 odd solution just if it doesn't work doesn't matter too much. Where do you get them from?

    Right guys a got it working! Was so simple just add 3 washers each side and sorted

    Does it still work at night, I added washers like you but mine stops working when it gets cold. I've only added two so I might add a third if it'd be more reliable.

    Seems to work atm and it's 5℃ atm but will let you know tonight mind I'm getting snow tonight so mines will be xaggerated to ur test haha

    Tap washers flex and use up some of the energy from spring get a packet of m8 washers from wilkinsons £1.13 add 3 each side and should work lol

    Aye will take some pics tomorrow mate but not to hard to show its a spring with 4washers n a rubber bit inside to keep it in place
