Seeing as the standard ST colour is Stealth I asked the salesman how many of that colour they have sold since the facelift ST came out.

His answer?- None!

Aye I was very lucky.

The only one they had in their depot was the exact trim and colour I was after.

It just needs a free Diamondbrite coating, window tinting and door edge protectors putting on (both gratis).

Also as part of their April deal I get a full tank plus 1 years free fuel credit (or £500, whichever comes first) and 3 years servicing.

It should have been ready for next Monday but they noticed that Friday is my birthday so are expediting it for me.

All I will be doing to it is swapping indicator bulbs to silvertec types and dog-proofing the boot.

Does anyone know if the wing mirror indicator lenses are the same ones as on the MK2.5?

You do know its never going to be as good as a 2010 1.8 Zetec S but if you cant afford one of those i suppose an ST 3 is a good second option ;-)

I know, I'll just have to console myself with the extra 100bhp and Recaros :(

The seats get really comfortable after they've moulded to your shape - it's a great car in every way. :)

Forgot to ask - will you be saying goodbye to the Mk2 Focus?

I'm used to the Recaros in my work car, bit of a squeeze with a patrol vest on but not too bad.

The MK2 is being chopped in so I'm stripping out what I can first.

Pity I won't have time to swap my carbon trim out (no replacement parts available at such short notice) or I would have made them available here for someone looking to replicate my console project.

There will be a couple of items coming soon though (ambient courtesy light /usb music box / led tail lights / alloy aircon knobs etc).
