Not only do I keep up with this thread I've also seen you've got an insurance quote for a Mk2.5 ST. Thinking of making a change?

  • Folks you may have noticed that I've been relatively quiet on here for a while. The reason being, my wife and I have bought our first house together. We are finally getting settled and all is well so

  • That house looks very small... Or is it just far away?

Lol that was just a 'what if' moment when I wasn't enjoying the car! That is all.

Tried installing the springs, got stuck at a bolt which didn't want to move at all. Off to the garage in the morning then I suppose ?

Spoiler is with the body shop as of lunchtime, I'll get that back on Thursday. Springs will hopefully have been fitted by then too so it's looking like I'll have some pics to post on Thursday afternoon :)

Looking forward to it. These are the two biggest mods yet on this car of mine :)

It makes a big differences to the profile of the car, much better.

I really liked it on my mk3.

I've just got her back there. Man it looks good. Not too low and not too high. I'll get comparison pics up later but it's looking sweet. Very pleased :)

Handling is a lot more responsive. But stiffer than stock but that's to be expected. It's by no means uncomfortable though.

These are the two biggest updates to this car yet and I must say they were worth the wait. One happy boy over here :)

Looks good, glad you're happy with it.

Cheers lads. Yep well pleased. They'll probably drop another mil or two when they settle in but even at that, the car looks awesome the way it is.

Looking awesome mate

Looks good, will look very nice with tints too. Any other upgrades in the pipeline? Full ZS/ST bodykit?

I highly recommend it! I found it improves the handling and makes the car sit a lot flatter around the bends and the ride is firmer but not uncomfortable. It also looks good!

Thanks. Next thing is tints, getting them done next Saturday. I will eventually get the full ZS kit but I'm toying with the idea of colour coding the abs skirts and lower section of rear bumper. Also a custom exhaust at some stage.

You could colour code the skirts and bottom of rear bumper but don't forget the bottom two pieces of the front bumper. A proper job will cost you £200. That's what it cost me but it was well worth it.
