Took a trip to Belfast Zoo yesterday. Managed to collect a lovely wee family of stone chips and a dent on the way:

Not impressed.

On a lighter note, stage 1 of 3 is completed:

Should have all the red replaced with blue by the end of today.

Will try and get the calipers painted the same blue tomorrow.

Not much I can do about the chips, will have to try and mask them with the 3pen set thingy.

Love the pinstripe. That blue looks a treat.

Managed to get the front brakes done today. Just by chance the only blue at Halfords was a 99% match for the wrap at the front. Lucky me.

It'll be next weekend now before I et to do the drums at the back but they're just going black. No one wants to see those lol

Nice work KPG but when you do the rear drums make sure you use a Zinc paint. Other painting ts would take stop rust appearing.

I'm using enamel paint. Hopefully that'll do the job?

Looks perfect! Too bad there are drums on the back (btw, really Ford? on 2011+ Focus? Drums?)...maybe you could also make a strip on "something" on the back...some part of the rear spoiler, etc...to make it look "in line" ;)

Yea it's stupid really. Why have drums in this day and age. Doesn't really bother me that much if I'm honest. I was thinking on doing the inner bit of the cutouts on the spoiler in the same blue. Maybe. But then again I may be getting the ZS rear bumper so a little pin stripe along that somewhere will definitely happen.

Heading to the Ford Fair in Portrush on Saturday morning. They're celebrating 40 years of the Fiesta so I'm very excited to see what shows up this year.

I'll be making a few owners club stickers in the same blue I wrapped my grill with. Putting them on the rear quarter Windows, just for the day. Also will be sporting my 'limited edition' ford owners club lanyard too so if anyone if going on Saturday keep an eye out and say hello :)

So I've been up since 8 this morning preparing the car for the Ford Fair. Drove to Portrush and found out that it's tomorrow.....seriously. what a waste of a drive.
