  • Folks you may have noticed that I've been relatively quiet on here for a while. The reason being, my wife and I have bought our first house together. We are finally getting settled and all is well so

  • That house looks very small... Or is it just far away?

It arrived!

One large parcel for me please :)

They look so shiny. I got stuck in straight away lol couldn't help myself. I don't have a step my step cause it's just clips holding them on. You have to reuse the clips from underneath on the old skirts on the new ones but for the rest, the new skirts have clips already on them. Which is just as well because I broke every single one of these ones:

They are a complete see-you-next-tuesday to get out and therefore they will get broken no matter how hard you try.

Anyway I got them on all safe, sound and secure bar the dog eating one if the clips!

Not the best pics as it was raining and I was soaked through but I'm quite pleased to say the least. Finishes off the sides nicely. Now I might go ahead and get those vinyl designs put on :)

Oh that's another thing, I take it the front mudflaps can't be put back on with these skirts?

I just need the zs rear bumper and a nice dual exit exhaust and I'll be nearly 'finished'.

And that ST front bumper. If it ever shows up.

Nice car mate.

Thanks pal. It's coning together nicely. Can't decide whether to do my wheels in panther black or just high gloss silver. I'm waiting for Motor Modz to have gel badges back in stock too so I've got a few things going on.

Do them in gunmetal grey or anthracite . They will look awesome on black.

I love panther black, used to have mk1.5 2.0 esp with boat load of factory extras . Hard to keep clean but once clean looks the best of all. I had diamondbrite treatment , expensive but worth it .

I've been through your thread a couple times, your car does look very nice.

I've never been a huge fan of gunmetal/anthrathite wheels to be honest. There's too many different shades lol I'm only thinking black since my dad had his done black on his black 5series. Looks class. Haven't decided yet though.

look forward to the pics of a clean car lol. panther black wheels would look great on your car but also high gloss silver I think would break the black up nicely but at the end of the day its your car but what ever colour you go for will look great

Yea I can't decide lol It'll prob make more sense to do it after Christmas at this stage would you think? I doubt they would last long over the winter?

See I was thinking panther black wheels and centre caps with the ford logo in the same blue I've used to accent the front bumper.

Getting to use the garage at work tomorrow so I'll get it polished and waxed then. Plus maybe a wee surprise vinyl-wise 😎

Looks amazing! Esp. the last pic is awesome! Hopefully the bumper arrives soon, so the skirts won't feel alone, lol :D

Here's hoping. Although I'm not too hopeful to be honest :(

I understand...but at least you bought it through ebay/paypal, so you have the money-back guarantee...and you can try a different seller next time...

Yea that's the good thing. Although st bumper from other sellers are considerably more expensive so I'll have to wait a while if that's the case.

I couldn't decide after debadging if I should put Titanium S on the back. I did anyways but it may come off at some stage.

What do you all think? I'm very happy with it all. Even the little H&R logos lol

It looks really good! I'm a great fan of debadging usually but I think having the logo on the back works as part of the overall look of the car. Gotta get those wheels sorted now!

Cheers bud. Yea well pleased. I think I may just get the wheels done hyper silver. The tyres would look all faded with the black wheels. I'd be out a fortune on tyre shine lol

might be a idea to wait for the winter to come and go then have your wheels done. but there again I only bought new wheels about a month ago so what do I know lol.

panther black wheels with the centre in the same blue as the accent would work and look good.

loving the new sticker on the rear and rear doors. blimey don't it scrub up well great job

Beautiful . Think I have seen those wheels some place ;).

I really can't decide !!! Lol I'm worried I'll drive myself mad trying to keep the tyres as dark as the wheels. Then again, black wheels would look amazing with black centre caps and blue text. Eugh.

Badges look very nice! Good job! On the back, I would probably leave just the "Focus" sign and then only the "S", but that's just my opinion, you know, just to mix things up a little :)

Btw, do you have HIDs in your headlight? It looks very bright/white on the pic, very HID-ish...if so, what kind are they?

Yea theyre HIDs. H7R 6000k. Can't remember where I got them to be honest. Think it was bastardised from eBay and carmodshop bits lol Had to get warning cancellers and bulb holders as well.

Any recommendations on the tyre gel?

Car is in for mot check and valet. Had them suss out some knocking front and back so hopefully they'll sort that. But better yet could be getting a drive in their demo RS. It belongs to one of the reps so he may be out when I'm picking the car up but in that case I'll be test driving the ST focus. Either way I'll come away disappointed with my own cars performance lol
