  • Folks you may have noticed that I've been relatively quiet on here for a while. The reason being, my wife and I have bought our first house together. We are finally getting settled and all is well so

  • That house looks very small... Or is it just far away?

When are you wrapping the wheels?:lol:

Does your NI plate have any significance or are you from Northern Ireland?

No significance, just an NI plate as I live in NI. I made it myself at work with a not-so-popular font and my initials, small, at the bottom.

Opinions needed:

Black or carbon?

The black would tie in with everything else but carbon makes it look stealthy. Can't decide.

Carbon, no, black definitely, or..... maybe carbon? Im not sure either!

Black!

that's handy then and sounds great stuff

yep, Panther black looks real good when its polished up.

I thought all Titaniums came with the Sony entertainment center though ?

I would have liked the carbon but I had more of the black lying around so decided to take a stab at it.

Quite pleased with the results.

I said carbon! Whats the point of asking and then completely disregarding what i say!

Looks nice in black, more factory looking rather than tacky. Good job there Kiefer!:)

What about the handbrake though?;)

Lol yes i know, pointless asking but i could just sit here and have patience like a normal person so I went ahead and wrapped it black :P

I had carbon on the handbrake, forgot to put the black on it

I hope youve got a bit left over for it then!

I've got a small piece that should do the job. Will do it later.

On another note; I've recently checked FordEtis and it seems there are quite a few software updates available for my car. I also read somewhere that somebody was having problems with the same car/engine/trim as i have, with it being underpowered, and that after the software updates it solved a lot of issues. Now i don't necessarily have any issues with performance but can a software update really improve performance? Also does Ford charge for software updates?

Oh and I cleaned the car today. Immensely. All of it.

Added a blue LED strip to the footwells too. Hooked it upto the ambient light LED so comes on automatically with everything else.

Just off the phone with local Ford dealer service department regarding software updates. The guy said if the cars running fine then there's no need for them. Also £75 for to hook up and install and an additional £75 an hour after that. Seems a bit steep. I'm thinking though that updates aren't released for no reason. Regardless if my cars running ok or not, an update is an update. So do I really need the updated software or will I be ok?
