Psm45a Posted April 25, 2016 Share Posted April 25, 2016 Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me with the identification marks on a 57 plate 1.6 Zetec Focus Gearbox. I have lost the ability to select 5th gear (loud grinding) & as such am considering changing the whole gearbox which I believe is an IB5. The label on the bellhousing is as follows 3M5R 7002 ND There appears to be quite a few on eBay closely matching the above number only varying by the last two letters. Do these just represent date stamps ? Would I have an incompatibility issue if the last two digits were different ? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
