Taurian
Hi All I have just updated my Focus from a 62 plate to a 64 plate and moved up to a Titanium X from a Titanium. There is a round unit with electrical wires attached sitting on top of the spare wheel in the boot. I suspect that it is the tyre pressure monitoring system but can't see anything in the drivers manual about it. Can someone confirm my suspicions please ? Thanks Ian

JW1982
The Tyre Pressure Monitoring System is completely integrated into the existing vehicle electronics. Apart from the sensors which are integrated into the valve stems the system has no other electronics. As far as I know the only electronics installed in the spare wheel well is the optionol subwoofer. The original subwoofer is part of the 10-speaker setup which was only available in combination with the Premium Sony audio system.
