HELP** 57 plate focus Dash intermitent problem

My ford focus 1.8 diesel titanium has got an annoying intermittent dashboard problem.

 

Every now and then when you start the car the temperature gauge doesn't work just has --- instead of a temp reading, also when this happens the engine management light stays on and the hand brake light also stays on. The parking sensors, indicator arrows and also indicator noise doesn't work either.

Weeks or days later, can get in the car and everything is fine again. Nothing is affected in the way it drives etc but with wanting to sell it for a newer model, I want to see if its an easy fix before it goes to an auto elec.
